Alloy Ramps' Slip Test Results Are In!

All Alloy Ramps' ramps are manufactured with our industry-standard serrated, slip-resistant flooring, and to reassure ourselves as manufacturers as well as our customers, we recently arranged our ramps to be put through a slip test!

For this test, we set up two of our ramps: a truck ramp at an angle of 16.5 degrees, and a single-stage rest-on ramp at an angle of 24 degrees. For the safety of our ramp users and for the best results possible, the ramps have undergone both wet and dry slip testing. For maximum accuracy, a sample of our ramp flooring has also undergone a lab pendulum test in both testing conditions.

Here's what the results have shown:

As seen in the graphs below, both of our ramps had remarkable results with an average of above 80 PTV in dry and above 70 PTV in wet conditions. These results will reassure you that our ramps are manufactured for maximum safety in any weather condition, with the best slip-resistant serrated flooring on the market.
