At Alloy Ramps by Aviramp one of our massive strengths is being able to take a bespoke request from enquiry stage right through to manufacture and fitting.
We were asked in this instance to design a solution to allow our customer access from the embankment down onto his houseboat. As with all of our gangway projects this was a completely bespoke job. We had to design a platform and steps on the embankment that would work with a straight gangplank down to the houseboat.
After completing a full site survey, we produced technical drawings for approval and then manufactured the fully bespoke all aluminium gangway, platform and stairs. The handrail was all aluminium T-section with a red polyester top rail.
Once the team had full technical drawings, they were able to manufacture the system from standard aluminium section. Once completed, our team fitted the system and made sure our customer was happy and could finally get easy access to his houseboat.
In describing the newly installed gangway he said;
