Alloy Ramps manufactures a wide range of bespoke products depending on the customer’s requirements.
The main specialty of Alloy Ramps by Aviramp is van loading ramps. Van ramps are a category in itself, however. Starting on with the best-seller, the rest on van ramps - they are manufactured with a welded rest-on top attachment to allow the ramp to rest securely on top of the base of the van. These are also available as a folding variant which comes with handles to allow for easy storage and transport. Folding ramps are designed to be longer to suit taller vans and trucks, therefore, a folding option accommodates the extra length saving the customer from worrying about storage.
As well as standard van loading ramps, Alloy Ramps by Aviramp also produce longer variations for the trucking industry. Using a deeper side profile [4”] these ramps are perfect for the sound and light and touring industries. The beauty of the flooring and ramp design means that there are so many different variations for a range of industries. The standard container loading ramps are manufactured with a shallower flat-top connection due to the lower loading height of grounded shipping containers. The recommended weight it can hold is up to 750kg in weight, which allows for comfortable loading and unloading of the container contents. Again, it is a very simple and universal design, which focuses primarily on the safety and ease of use for the client.
Gangway solutions are another specialty of Alloy Ramps by Aviramp. Manufactured bespoke to accommodate specific needs of the customer, such as the gangway and gate manufactured for Rushden Lakes back in 2017, to increase accessibility to the lake. Initial site surveys and risk assessments are provided for all gangway projects to ensure high quality and security are maintained both throughout and after the project. Throughout the project, load testing and safety checks also take place, ensuring that the gangway being produced is fit for purpose.
Alloy Ramps by Aviramp has also manufactured several access ramps combined with stairs for local schools and colleges. The anti-slip texture allows for safe use in any weather, both for students who use stairs and for students with reduced mobility. Additionally to the school access ramps, Alloy Ramps manufactured multiple other access ramps - for shops such as the Co-Operative or the Woburn Safari Park, and door-step access ramps.
Alloy Ramps is always ready to tackle new challenges, expand its manufacturing portfolio and find its next specialty.
